TEXAS 1836

If you want to put together a character for 1836 Texas GURPS, here's the scoop.

A. This is for pickup games when Sneaker don't feel like being sneaky, and Russell's too fucked up to DM, or when we feel like it. I'm not up to DM'n on a regular basis (look how I fucked up THE TRAIN).

B. Your character should be rational in a Texas 1836 setting. No nijitsu, alternate lyfestyle power rangers, demihumans, psychics, cyborgs etc! Although a certain Militech Sypder might show up. lol

C.130 CP to start. No cinematic backgrounds or skills or ADVs. The only exception would be for "trained by a master" for lance, knife, or bow for a Commanche. OTOH, if you play a Commanche, expect a short lifespan. Unless you're smart enuff to figger out why I mentioned that.

D.Possible background options would be Tarankawa, Hispanic, Texian. Anything else give me a DAMN GOOD story on. English nobility should also expect a short lifespan. I am notoriously bigoted as a DM ( ask Russ about the shaman he played in 2020)

I want PLAYERS to do some background research. If you play an allied Indian, which tribe, and what language, eh eh eh.

E. Magic -yes it exists. see me if interested. BUT no flashy shit. And I beleive the last witch burned in the US was about 1806.
